Cantaloupe Apple Green Smoothie Recipe

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with c1 preset

Ingredients:

1 Apple

3/2 Cups Cantaloupe

1 Cup Spinach

1 Cup Cale

1/2 Cup Pineapple

1/2 Banana

1/2 Cup Silken Tofu

Then blend and stuff it in a cantaloupe. Creating a cantaloupe bowl allows more of the cantaloupe flavor to seep into the smoothie.

Next, I topped it with blueberries, celery leaves (I found those in the fridge and thought they go well with this. They are from my mother’s garden), apple stars, peanut butter, almonds, pistachio, and a chili pepper I found lying around to add contrast.

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with c1 preset

Smoothie ingredients:

  • 2-3 Bananas
  • 2 Spoons of powdered peanut butter
  • 1 Spoon of cacao nibs
  • 1/2 Apple

Note: The texture of powdered peanut butter is easier to blend and taste better than regular peanut butter.

Toppings:

  • Banana
  • Peanut butter (I filled a plastic bag with peanut butter, cut a small hole in the corner, and squeezed the peanut butter out like icing on a cake).
  • Cacao nibs
  • Emmy’s organics chocolate chips macarons
  • Pretzels
  • Almonds
  • The designs on the smoothies are made with coconut yogurt mixed well to create a smooth texture. It was dotted on the smoothie then dragged with a toothpick to make the shape.
